Luis Lopez (that's me) is a stand up comedian in New York City. He's a regular at several clubs around the city including New York Comedy Club, The Stand, and more.

Luis was a 2023 Comic to Watch for New York Comedy Festival.

He was a finalist in the New York Comedy Club Competition and a finalist in the Carolines March Madness Comedy Tournament.
He has appeared on Sirius XM, Amazon TV, and was also part of All Things Comedy Presents at Stand Up NY.
He tours comedy venues across the country and is pretty good at it.

You’ve heard her on Sirius XM and The Bob & Tom Show and she appeared on the Vice TV Series ‘Hunters.’ Her albums ‘No More Tears’  and ‘A Two Person Job’ debuted at #1 on the Apple Music and Amazon charts. Ariel Elias is a comedian living in New York City. Growing up, this Kentucky Jew made everyone laugh at her bat mitzvah, and the rest is history. Today, her comedy is a fun mesh of unique, personal stories mixed with witty and wry observations. 

Most recently, Ariel released her debut stand-up special A Jewish Star through 800 Pound Pound Gorilla, which can be seen on their YouTube channel.

 Described as “a sly young comic from Kentucky” by the New York Times, Ariel has also been featured in Rolling Stone, the Washington Post, and on Good Morning America. As a traveling stand up comedian, she has performed on the set of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, was named a “New Face” at the 2021 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, and most recently performed stand-up on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

 After catching Jimmy Kimmel’s attention with a viral stand up clip that displayed her cool, calm, and hilarious composure, he invited Ariel to make her late night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! In the same week she also appeared for an interview on the daytime talk show, Sherri.

Tyler Jackson is a standup from Los Angeles whose comedy is made up of a thousand little silly ideas, absurd puns, and pop culture references all smushed together. He presents his jokes in a unique format that allows the audience to guide the course of the show. Tyler has performed on over 50 comedy festivals across the country, including several prestigious fests like SF Sketchfest, The New York Comedy Festival, and The Onion Comedy Arts Festival. He is also co-host of the chaotic cross-country game show, Late Late Breakfast and a founding member of the Character Assassination roast series. He recently released his debut album "Hit Me!" on On Tour Records.

Late Late Breakfast is a fast-paced standup show where comedians perform their material while contending with a bevy of bizarre challenges, rules, and objectives. It’s chaotic, unique, and never the same show twice! You might see anything, from a baseball game involving the entire audience, a comedian hooked up to a polygraph machine, or an impromptu mid-set karaoke session. Our show has been featured on the New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, and happens monthly in Los Angeles.

At THE DOSE we facilitate the perfect set and setting for both the comedians and the audience to find the funny within their expanding minds. Our Master of Ceremonies and creator of THE DOSE is Steven Gillespie (CONAN, AMAZON PRIME), a nationally touring stand-up comedian and a psychedelic connoisseur.
THE DOSE is more than a comedy show, it’s a multi-media event featuring our very own DJ and he will play before, during, and sometimes even after the show! Zak Toscani is a standup comedian and writer living on the west coast. Zak started comedy in Portland but it has since taken him all around the world. Zak has performed at the Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival, The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and the The High Plains Comedy Festival.

When Mo Alexander hits the stage, it’s clear that you’re in the hands of a man who knows what he’s doing. With comedy influences such as Bill Hicks, Paul Mooney, and Richard Pryor, Mo combines intelligence and debauchery into a product that is just as funny as it is important. With an ability to access both the smartest and the stupidest parts of your brain, there’s a reason this comedy phenom has been headlining comedy clubs nationwide for over 20 years.

Mo began his professional full-time comedy career in July 1996 featuring in clubs throughout the United States and by 1999 he was headlining.

In 1998 Mo made an appearance in Bret Michael’s film, A Letter from Death Row.

After impressing Keenan Ivory Wayans with a good natured roast, Mo was invited to be the opening act on tour with Keenan in 1999.

In 2003 he was given his own Las Vegas show, “The Mo Funny Show” at the Casino Royale.

In the past few years Mo has been on several syndicated radio shows in major markets, such as Bob & Tom (Indianapolis), and Mancow (Chicago). He made his way through the ranks to become a semi-finalist in both the San Francisco Comedy Competition (2012) and the Seattle Comedy Competition (2013) and has been a headliner at a number of comedy festivals such as Asheville Comedy Fest (2015), Altercation Comedy Festival (2016 & 2018), Hopkins Comedy Festival (2017), Memphis Comedy Festival (2017), North Carolina Comedy Festival (2018), The Lookout Comedy Festival (2019), Eastside Comedy Festival (2019).

Mo is excited to announce his signing with the record label Stand Up! Records owned by Grammy Award-winning producer, Dan Schlissel. In September of 2019, Mo made history by becoming the first comedian ever to record an album at world-famous Sun Studio in Memphis, TN. • There is NO item minimum for attending shows, however we do offer a full bar selection, mocktails and other non-alcoholic options, as well a a rotating selection of snacks.

Planet of the Tapes specializes in table service, with a convenient silent ordering system. Instead of leaving your table to get in line at a busy bar, just fill out a ticket with your drink order and a server will promptly and quietly bring your drinks to the table. We're a small room, and we're not overcrowded. You'll be no more than 25 feet away from your favorite performer.
